Webcam Belvedere

GHIACCIO VIVO Project: MeteoliveVco in cooperation with CNR-ISE

Real-time images taken from the bifurcation of the Belvedere Glacier from the homonymous hill (1950 m. a.s.l.).
In the foreground the Belvedere Glacier, the Monte Rosa Glacier in the middle and in the background the Monte Rosa massif with its peaks: Punta Gniffetti , Punta Zumstein, Punta Dufour, Punta Nordend.

The aim of the project is to create a time-lapse video on the movement of the glacier tongue.
The webcam images are updated every two minutes.
A weather station (for which data are available at this link) and a second camera (online soon) complete the installation.
